Psp vnc help?

I have pspvnc-v1.2.1. On my psp I am running firmware 3.40 and I don't have GTA. When I copy the pspvnc-v1.2.1 into the game folder it says that is corrupt when I try to open it. How do I get this to work.

Do I need eloader and how do I put it on my PSP. Just how do I do everything so I will be able to run Homebrew programs
