Its possible but unlikely. Someone would have noticed a little girl on her own wandering around in her pyjamas.

It is quite possible, according to the telegraph newspaper, the apartment was not in sight as first explained I am not sure about that one.
When my little boy was very little we would put him into his bed and quite often go into the neighbours next door. We had a survelliance system on our home and we would take the feed so we could watch activity going on outside the three exits. But we would also use an intercom with a range of 300metres. I would run home if I heard my child so much as sneeze. it would certainly hve picked up an intruder in the room from both precautions. I know they would not have been able to use surveliance as it is too hard to set up for a holidsay. but we bought the intercom for about £80 - that would not have broken the accounts of the good doctors would it.
I know hindsight is wonderful but maybe the parents could have taken more precautions if they were going to leave their children asleep. But I am sure they alreasy know that and all we can do is pray maddy comes home

this was infact said on sky news 24 tonight that the police dogs lost the sent of the little girl at the supermarket down the road there is a man being questioned who lives 150 yeards from the appartment they were living in the man being questioned was from britain brought up my his mother in the algarv who also lives in the house the police were searching today, she had also set up a stall so that members of the public with any information about madeline could go to her in private and she would pass the message onto the police on your behalf... yeah right because im sure you would tell the police if someone mentioned your son..........
the man (the son) who is being questioned has helped police in the case he was being an interpruter for the mccann family he had even been in the apparment madeline and her family were living in after she was kidnapped...
it was a news reporter for the mirror (newspaper) that had suspicions about this man she told a police officer who answer was before she mentioned his name yes we know who you are talking about . alot came out in the news that we havent heard before.. the mcann family could not see the appartment at all they could only see the top of a window that was it and they had left the patio doors unlocked there was no sign of a break in because the child left the house by her self according to police

...because she walked out of the patio door which her loving, caring mother so thoughtfully left unlocked incase there was a fire, don't you know?
Well, I've tried defending Madeleine by telling the truth about the parents, and that lead me to be called all sorts of b*stard, so I'll give defending them a go and see if it gets me anywhere. Seems like it's a crime to defend an innocent child these days.

There was a swimming pool and trees in between the room and the parents. The little girl would have thought they were at the shop because she did not get for a meal with them so would not know she could have found them there. They were saying on Sky news tonight there was not enough evidence of a break in and they think she wandered off to the shops, that is where the tracker dogs followed her to.

It angers me that people are all too quick to blame the parents for leaving them alone. I am a parent of three and have never left my children alone for a second, but this makes me in no better situation to judge.
Yes, there were creche facilities available but lets face it. There are child carers in this damn country that are not fully police checked. Whats to say that they could have been left in the care of the creche and something sinister could have happened?
Again this does not give any reason for the McCanns to be blamed. I think they have enough bad feeling and self blame of their own.
This was a tragic error of judgement. But besides all the blame being aimed towards these parents we have got to remember that while our own children and tucked safely in their beds, or are taking lessons at school, maybe attending brownies, reading aloud at the table, terrorising the dog etc, remember that their child is missing. Pure and simple and how easily could it have been one of OUR own children! It only takes a second. How many of you have let your child slip your hand whilst shopping at the local supermarket? Let your children out to the ice cream van?
Regardless of what could have happened ie creche/staying home, their little girl should have been safe. No-one had the right to walk in and take her.
We should stop pointing the finger of blame and look at our own parenting!
"Wherever you are Maddy, let the light shine on you, let you never forget that your family loves you and waits for you to return safely home! God bless you and may you find your mummy and daddy soon"

Her parents were irresponsible f***tards for leaving their 3 year old baby girl alone in a strange building in a foreign country. That's not even bad parenting, I couldn't even give it a name. Let's just say they shouldn't have had a child in the first place.
You have a kid, that means family holidays are FAMILY holidays. You don't have the freedom to go having dinners on your own, you have responsibilities now. The stupidity of some people astounds me.

What are you chatting. This topic is repeating itself over and over. This was already discussed last week. We have since moved on to a suspect being questioned by police at the moment. This is the latest news. Stop persecuting the McCanns and let us find Madeleine alive and well.

i think it's time to stop believing what the papers say. they want people hooked on a story to sell more papers. they'll harp on about this case ad nauseum. just to make money.
that's sickening.
could the press be endangering this little girl more? yes.
they need to stop making up stories.
and writing stuff just to get people worked up emotionally and then hooked on these tales.
the press aren't known for telling the truth. quite the opposite.
