That would be Masanori Murakami, who pitched for the Giants in 1964-65. The next Japan-born player was Steve Chitren in 1990, then Jim Bowie in 1994, and then Hideo Nomo in 1995, who pushed the door open and held it there.

I don't recall his name but he pitched for the SF Giants in the 60s
