I'm not too sure if mines too (long) loose, or if I get another size (shorter) it will be too tight. Is it normal for it to be hitting your teeth when you talk?

u should be able to get a shorter one...i have mine done & it doesn`t touch my teeth at all & barely touches my gum...

It shouldn't get caught on your teeth when you talk. But of course it's normal for it to hit your teeth, it's pierced right under your lip. Go to your piercer and ask if he/she thinks you should get a smaller one. They will know better. There are even plastic ones you could get that are much better for your teeth. The metal ones wear at the enamel on your teeth.
