The youth rights issue in general. However, that issue is not even
mentioned by almost all politicians, because the majority of people
oppose youth rights.
However, there are a few popular issues that do involve youth rights.
They are:
1. The right of a minor to have an abortion without informing the parents
(who might cut the child out of their will, and cut them off when they turn
18, if they are anti-abortionists).
2. The right of minors to view the same television, movies, video games,
music, and other media as adults.
3. The right of older minors to have sex and other physical affection with
adults, without the adults being in danger of going to prison (statutory rape).
4. The amount of tax-paid funding for the public school system that
oppresses them.

As a sociologist I'd suggest these. It would be fair to note that really all people have these concerns but the young more specifically:
educational opportunity
good job income levels
environmental changes towards better habits/policy
crime rates being so high
STD's (one in five have one in the US)
Health care availability
Good jobs being out sourced around the globe
Cost of living being so high (inflation)

The poor quality of public education (inspite of massive spending) affects everyone. Long-term, this may be the most important issue facing the U.S.
Best wishes and good luck.
