Psychology is not a drug to the person being analyzed. It is a form of self-evaluation and discovery that will make it possible for that person to begin to make healthier choices.

It's like opening up a watermelon with a few bad patches. Is it garbage? Absolutely not! Simply find the bad patches, remove them, and enjoy the rest of the melon!--not that easily, but a similar concept.

I think you are asking if psychology is real or fake. Going on that assumption, no it is not. It takes 12 long hard years to become a psychiatrist. They are also Medical Doctors and require a license to prescribe medication if it helps the client.

Would you take your family pet to a Veterinarian if it was hurt? Would you go to the dentist if you needed a root canal? Would you find a good psychiatrist if your child tried to end his life? Psychology is not a game. It is a science.
