When are the gullible going to know what we predicted after Bush's speech in January... putting US troops on the ground and taking them out of Base in Iraq would just lead to more of their deaths......

There were more body bags on a *single day* in WWII than in four years in Iraq.

You would think that removing men and women from relative areas of safety (i.e. army bases) and spreading them out into small groups on the ground would lead any sensible person to conclude that more deaths would be caused. Of course using common sense and the word neoconservative in the same sentence is an oxymoron.
I suppose what Bush meant by the term “surge” is that there will be a greater SURGE OF DEATH on our end. If we can construe the SURGE to mean a rapid increase in the number of casualties for U.S. troops , then finally Bush made a predication that is spot on accurate.

Since in my opinion Bush's intention of the 'surge' was to get more people killed and it didn't matter which side it was.
Then Yes, the 'surge' was very successful.
Bush said that "God" told him to invade Iraq. This is what Americans get for electing delusional people. If the American people wanted a 'God fearing man' in the White House. They shouldn't complain when the ones they love come home in bodybags.
STOP that maniac in the White House or he will destroy the U.S.
He's already severely financially damaged it, undermined the Constitution, and alienated all of the U.S.'s friends world wide.
Does he have to preemptively strike Iran with nukes before he and his Sadistic pals are taken out of office?

The other mothers & I do not call our children "bodybags".
My son is a Ranger & Officer & he says the surge of troops will work esp. if we send more to re-enforce the ones there.
It is hard to tell friends from foe esp. with our Congress.

I have seen whiners in my time but you and other libs take the cake. First you whine about being there when it's a world coaltion force, then you whine about having to many troops there and we need to pull out, when the forc e is reduced then you whine about not having enough there, so we sned more on a surge and then you whine about the deaths and the surge with the influx of troops.....don't you people ever get it right and get tired of whining?
