Condi's trail of lies
Condoleezza Rice's contradictory, misleading and outright false statements about the U.S. and torture have taken America's moral standing -- and her own -- to new depths.

Pelosi Revisited
"I think it is finally time we stood up and thanked Rep. Nancy Pelosi, the darling Democrat from the Bay Area who leads her party in the House. Pelosi's recent speech to the Israel-American lobby AIPAC, the second largest lobby in Washington, was monumental truly unparalleled in its candor.

I feel fine knowing that Condi is not really very bright. Her job before she was Secretary of State was "National Security Advisor" and while she held that job, the USA was attacked. So much for National Security -- she ignored terrorist threat and had Richard Clark fired. Eye for detail? What about the report , "Osama Bin Laden determined to attack in US" that she said was a "historical" statement, she entirely missed the boat. Then, after the attack, she says on national television that "no one could have imagined that people would hijack airplanes and fly them into buildings", one of the stupidest things I have ever heard coming from the mouth of a government official. She was not made Secretary of State for her brains, but only because of her blind loyalty to Bush.

Just had to throw that out there to see what you'd get huh? How do you feel knowing that with all that superior intellect, and wealth of knowledge she is still just a puppet and Bush is holding the strings.

Judging from all the answers so far...this isn't an issue of 'political smartness!' It's a choice between a blonde and 2 different brunettes!

Depending upon your support of the democratic, republican or some other party...there will be just as many people who support Nancy, Hilary or Condoleeza...as those who don't!

...and her abillity to mindlessly parrot talking points even in the face of overwhelming evidence that they're wrong shows a clarity of purpose that makes me a little uncomfortable.

I haven't seen IQ tests side by side so I have no way of knowing who's smarter. Condi's better trained that's for sure.

We are comforted by the fact that the Speaker and the Senator from New York are aware of the difference between truth and lies. Truth good, lies bad. Condisleezarosa has ben lying so long, with such aplomb, that she no longer can tell the difference between truth and lies. All that matters is advancing the agenda, which was supposed to preserve America's reputation, not trash it.

My old grandfather used to say that someone has the know how but not the do how. He had a 5th grade education. He was born in 1889 and was a farmer most of his life. His saying means that just because someone has been to school to learn something doesn't mean they can do it.

I am wondering if Condi is so smart why on earth is she hanging around with the likes of Bush and Cheney?

I think it's hilarious how libs can think themselves superior to the President, Vice President, and Secretary of State. The fact that they are posting in near obscurity on YA from their mothers house while smoking weed paid for with a check from their fast food job is lost on them. Before they go ranting about Bush's dad buying him the job, they should keep in mind that billionare Kerry is wimpering on the sidelines. Bush won twice because democrats fielded dummies.
