How deep would the sea be if there were no sponges?

Just as deep as it is now. They don't really absorb tons of water. They are more like filter feeders and expel the water they do absorb over and over again to obtain their food.

it would probably go down ( the sea spunges don't absorb water, so there would be lessvolume in the oceans
