I use the dishwasher, all detergents are fine, i usually would do a 2nd rinse. If you dishwasher has a sanatize feature use it, but be careful, it can warp some softer plastic bottles (like evenflo and gerber)

Definitely a new bottle every feeding. When our girls were little we also had about 4-6 bottles made up in the fridge that we would just warm up and then set the bottles aside in the sink with some soapy water. We would rinse them and eventually every night the dishwasher was full of bottles and we run it when we sleep. The only time that I boiled my bottles was when they were new or when the came out of storage for my 2nd and 3rd daughters. And actually thinking back on it I think that I only sterilized the nipples by boiling them and then everything goes into the dishwasher.

Run them thru the dishwasher and then follow up with placing them in a pot of boiling water for a final rinse....... After about the age of 6 months the dishwasher should be enough...

I wash my baby bottles in the dishwasher. I also have one of those baskets that you can put the nipples and rings in. Everything goes on the top shelf and I set the dishwasher on the sanitizing cycle.

I've just thrown them in the dishwasher and never had a problem. But I still hand washed them with a bottle brush. My pediatritian said it was just fine as long as when I toook them otu to rinse them again or to make sure there isnt any residue on them.

I would suggest that you hand wash them and use a bottle cleaner. That is they way that I did it and I also read on the back to make sure that the soap that I used wasn't going to be harmful to my sons

You could use the bottle sterilizers designed for microwaves.
They kill all the germs that might be in the bottles.
