This happened back when I was about 16 years old, which was almost 20 years ago. I was wearing these Nike HI-Top sneakers without socks, and they were one of the first sneakers I never wore socks in since I hate wearing socks. This was around 6:30 AM I wore them for about 40 hours straight, and how it happened was when I woke up that morning I put them on my bare feet, and it was quite cold outside, and that night I went into my bed and was still wearing them, but I had to read a chapter in a book for my homework assingment, so I was reading the book, and I fell asleep while reading, and I woke up like 1:30 AM and didn't realize I was still wearing my sneakers, so I just took off my glasses, and put them on a little table, which was right by my bed, and I went back to sleep, and when I woke up the next morning I realizes they were still on my feet; therefore, I kept them on my feet since I forgot to take them off, and I took them off that night, which was about 10:30 on a Friday night. and my feet were just sweating and very smelly. and the insoles of my sneakers were just soaking wet from my sweat. (The insoels were canvas) I did put them on my feet again Saturday morning about 8:00 to go out for breakfast that morning, and they were still sweaty from the night before. My feet got sweaty right away. I only did it tahat one time. My feet felt tough though, and I don't think I can do it again. FOr one thing, it made my feet smell so bad, I could not stand the smell, and after I took them off my feet that Saturday, it took a good 3 days for the sneakers to dry out completely.
