I think just you posing that type of question will start to bring all the answers you might need. Great question. I'd say more of the eastern religions hold the answers you are seeking - since many of them have similar principles - that you need to induce your energy or create good karma, etc.

There are many theories as to what happens after life. There is no convincing proof. The soul is perpetual and cannot be destroyed. It discards body in its long long journey, just like we change our cloth. It seems the life of the soul continues irrespetive of the deeds. What happens,is that the type of body the soul gets changed based on deeds. If you do good you get better body,if you do bad the soul gets an inferior body(animal). The theory of heaven and hell are incorrect. There is no heaven or hell. The soul experiances of effects of the deeds (good or bad) through the body it gets in successive transmigrations only.

The rules of the game ARE the same for us all.

Life and death.

Either God exists or He doesn't.

As for continuance, all of us are eternal and will not cease to exist beyond death. It is where we will end up that is determined by what we do in the present.

I just read a few interesting books about this which made all my (similiar) questions resloved...believe me i have been searching all my life for answers....
life does exiest after death,I'm sure about that.. most of us go to a paradise palce you can't imagine & there is no hell...God is all love & he wouldn't create a hell...but those who choose themselves to turn away from God & choose the dakness create their own suffering...
I totally agree with you, that we need to activate sth in us & that is our God consciousness, that part of us that is born of God,that is made in the image of God...that is sth worth fighting for. that is love....
