YES YES YES AND YES.....Many times over .....and it*s always been because *they* play on my emotions and manage to make me feel guilty if I refuse. Anyone reading and wanting to respond with ideas and insightful suggestions please do so at my e mail address. My son got married in Sept. 2004, they lived with her parents for a couple of months...asked to come spend a couple of days with me and my husband...turned into several months. He was unemployed..and she was lazy..all they did was eat..sleep..poop..&
follow you around like a lost puppy dog. Then she found out in Feb. that she was preg...a mobile home was Given to them.....they lived there until the baby was born and then moved in with his grandparents...stayed there for almost a year, back in with her parents, back in with me, back in with grandparents, etc....and we are all sick and tired of it. The *baby* will soon be 3 yrs. old, and has NO stability....doesn*t know what *home* is....Finances are no longer the problem...he got his cdl license and is now driving a semi...plus the *baby* because of her *dwarfism* is drawing a disability check. they are turning (Him ) 26, and (her) 25 this summer. Where is the want to to have a home of their own and not continue to be *unwanted houseguests* until they wear out their welcome.(The child involved is the reason that we have all allowed this to happen...and it*s to the point one set of grandparents, her parents, are about to give them the ultimatum either you find a place of your own within x amt. of time, or we will be filing for custody of child., until such a time as you can grow up and provide her with a stable home.)

The only unwanted houseguest I have is a lizard. He came in through the patio door and now lives in my living room. I have no idea what he eats in here, but he is in and out of the A/C duct. Can someone tell me how to get rid of him without hurting him? Since we are talking about unwanted guests, maybe someone here has an idea.
:-)

When I was in college my roommate and I used to let people come over and do their laundry. It was fine until the people started coming over later and staying till 12am or later.

I finally got smart and started going to bed before my roommate so that she would have to be the one to stay awake with them.

If you have unwanted people, just be blunt, tell them you need to get up early. Even letting them know you have to clean the house or go out for a while may work. You situation may be people that are staying for more than just a short time. If they are staying over night, make a limit on the amount of days they can stay and be firm about it.

Ben Franklin said something like: "Fish and houseguests stink after three days."

There are few things more intimate than sharing one's personal space with another. I have learned a lot about myself every time the opportunity occurred. regardless of how I felt about my "guest".

he's no longer their duty and on no account has been. every person is to blame for his or her owns lives - if he committs suicide (which I doubt he will) then it fairly is his determination and not something to do with them. at first i might take a seat consisting of your mothers and fathers and tell them what you think of and sense approximately it and how you like them and don't prefer to work out their relationship disintegrate. you will desire to unite in this or one in all you will weaken and permit him stay. he will on no account leave at that cost as he's familiar with a thank you to control you - those every person is MANIPULATIVE!!! (own adventure!) Then somebody needs to tactfully tell him to pass on. a advantageous thank you to do it ought to be to ask somebody else to stay for somewhat alongside with a relative and tell him he has to pass because of the fact they'd desire to sleep anyplace he sleeps. Lie in case you will desire to and fake super uncle Albert is ill and needs to stay indefinitely. on the different hand, in simple terms be frank and tell him that during spite of the reality that he's a gorgeous guy and so on and so on, your mothers and fathers choose area and their own residence returned and recommend a advantageous adolescents hostel or some thing! attempt to maintain it advantageous and do some manipulating of your man or woman. he will discover somebody else to scrounge off in any adventure. somebody i understand became into those days extra harsh and threw each and all of the guy's assets out mutually as they have been out and altered the locks....permit's wish it would not come to that, yet for heaven's sakes be organization and get him out. Alcoholics are the main devious human beings (returned own adventure) and could do something to feed their habit. do no longer permit him destroy your lives.

Yes, So I do what I can to let them know politely they are in my way. They never get the hint. So I just grin and bear it.
Of course if they are rude I escort them out immediately.
