I am 30 weeks pregnant, and am looking for a unique biracial name for my son, i want a name that can be both black and white, not to ghetto, and will look good on a resume... Is that asking to much?

That is what i am trying to do, i am not trying to give it a black name because its black, or a white because he is white... I want a strong firm name, That represents both of his cultures

As a biracial boy myself, I can't help but find your question a tad bit racist. Not for nothing, but there is no such thing as a biracial name that fits a child of black and white parents.
Please do not attempt to categorize your child into any racial groups- black, white or multiracial. Let him grow up to be the amazing kid he will become without imposing any social stigmas on him. Name him what you and the father WANT to name him, not what you think will best "label" him. He'll get enough "labels" from all the other bigots in this world.

I never understand the biracial question of names. It seems so racial to me. Why can't the boy JUST have a name because you like it, not because he is half black.
I am not even going to put down names becasue to me it feels very raisit
I have loved a black man in the past, his name is Don. And he is all black. And one of the smartist most honorable man I have ever met.

My children are mostly black and white but they also have indian, swedish, and chinese so when we named them we just named them unique names. You dont think of them by color because all biracial children range in skin tone. We picked Korena and Maleah because we didnt want "ghetto" names if you wanna say it like that. We wanted names that not every other kid has. I like

I have seen all those names on black and white people. Overall, I think you should go with whatever name you LOVE. I don't believe that a name is strictly reserved for one race only. Any name would work -if you truly love it!
