Been married 23 years and the amount of sex has varied wildly over the years. In the past day we have had sex 3 times because we missed each other. He had a crash on his bike about 2 weeks ago (he road bikes) and was missing a lot of skin and was really bruised so the sex was zero for those 2 weeks while he healed (I was afraid to even touch the poor guy except to administer first aid). We have sex on average usually anywhere from 3 - 7 times a week. It just depends on the week and how much time we have together. When the kids were young and he was working crazy hours it was less. I really enjoy sex as much as he does, especially as I have gotten older. We are also very great friends and all other areas of our relationship outside the bedroom are working very well (which helps set the mood).

It depends on how old your are, and how long you've been married. If your a newlywed (less than a year of marriage), and under 30-35, then I would guess daily. Once you've been married a few years, I would say 3-5 times a week, depending on other commitments. As you've been married a while (over 5 years, or your over 35 yrs/old), then once or twice a week. But of course it varies, however, if you aren't having regular sex, then something is not right.

This varies widely, depending on the relationship and how it's holding up. I would say most newlyweds hae more frequent sex, whereas older couples don't as much. I also think oldest long-married couples probably have it more frequent than older couples because they must have kept the flame burning this long!

My Hubby and I get it on about 6 times a week on average. Sometimes more than this, but you asked for an average. We have been together 10yrs and married for 7yrs of these.

Anyway, I'd say if you're between the ages of 25-50, it should be at least 3 to 4 times a week...but if you're like me, that may be a dream. LOL

i'd say 2 or 3 times a week. Some do it everyday. In a healthy relationship anyway.

Depends on a couple... I know couples who have sex nearly every day, whereas my husband and I are content with once a month. It varies.
