After working out some data, I got a sample standard deviation of -111,578 and 546,098.14.?

Should I write out the answer as being between 0 and 546,098.14 (shares?) Because having -111,578 shares makes no sense to me

Only one standard deviation to a customer. Why did you get two? Also, consider "coding" your data so you don't have such humungous numbers. Perhaps you can divide each data point by 100 or something like that.
