yes what you do matters for example if you were to take up house building as a hobby and if you liked building houses so much that you built them for people they would know what you did and when the time came you could die with a smile on your face knowing that you made the world a better place so it how you die that matters a good clean peacefull death in the knowledge the world is the better for your actions or at least none the worse is the best way to go this is the way i want to go don't think i will though

Everything you do matters. Every lesson learned in this life matters. We can help others that have been to the same places we have been, mentor them , be a friend, listen to them and try helping them through it from our own experiences. Every Life Matters! God cares about each of us and is pleased when we are doing what we are here for, to begin with. To Love one another. To care, to share,. It all matters.

Living in this world is living for the Lord. Because simply living it has no point like what you said. If we live for the Lord, we gain blessings and discover our talents. Then we bless others with sharing our talents and knowledge and sharing what we know to others. To touch lives before we die is the point of living for the Lord. Cause the point of simply living is to just enjoy life before death.

Well if you consider it that way but the reason for living is like asking what's the meaning of life. I believe it's to live and let live and to live for the simple fact of experiencing. Other wise no there is no point to living.

St Robert Southwell:
"Seek Flowers of Heaven"
Soar up my soul onto thy rest, Cast off this loathsome load; Long is the date of thy exile, Too long thy strait abode.
Graze not on worldly withered weed, It fitteth not thy taste, The flowers of everlasting spring Do grow for thy repast.
Their leaves are stained in beauty's dye, And blazed with their beams, Their stalks enameld with delight, And limbed with glorious gleams.
Life giving juice of living love, Their sugared veins doth fill, And watered with eternal showers, They nectared drops distill.
These flowers do spring from fertile soil, Though from unmanured field, Most glittering gold in liue of glebe, These fragrant flowers doth yield;
Whose sovereign scent surpassing sense, So ravisheth the mind, That worldly weeds needs must he loathe, That can these flowers find.

I, for one, like living every single day. In fact, I'm going to go kicking and screaming to my death at the latest possible date. So, it's the days we live that are the point of living.

Ah, the hell that my mom passed down to me- the No Point Theory.
But, it doesn't pay the bills, it doesn't make us smile, and it sure doesn't raise kids right.
So, while you're here, Just Do It.
Sad, a woman having to re-raise herself on Nike!
