GameCube Vs. PS2?

...yeah, I like my 'cube and all, but the PS2 is clear winner with the better games, better support, and better userbase.

Edit: why are people saying the PS2 has better graphics? Even though the differences are minimal at best, the Gamecube can produce slightly better graphics at a slightly faster speed. Of course, the Xbox can produce even slightly better graphics at about the same speed as Gamecube, but that's beside the point.

Also, I did misquote myself. I did not mean to say that the PS2 has better games; both sides has quality games (Fire Emblem Path of Radiance is pure win), but the PS2 has a higher number of quality games, and just a higher number of games in total.

I love my GameCube. When I was in college and played video games with my friends, we always played my GameCube because it had better multiplayer games. We only used the PS2 to play DDR. Yes, the PS2 had better graphics, but I think the GameCube had more games of good quality than the PS2. I'm only interested in the PS2 so I can catch up on the Final Fantasy series and God of War (and maybe some Guitar Hero).

But, I'm a Nintendo fan. I'm a little biased (although I still love my Sega Genesis).

It depends, the Gamecube has a variety of games with decent graphics yet amazing plots and gameplay styles. The PS2 offers few good games, yet has superior graphics. The Gamecube is far more durable than the pitifully delicate PS2. The Gamecube also offers a four-person multiplayer without a multitap, the better version of Resident Evil 4, and is responsible for the Metroid Prime series, Super Smash Bros. Melee, and a remake of arguably the greatest game of all time; The Legend of Zelda- Ocarina of Time.

-theres SOO much moore that r betR than gamecube

PS2 is way better. Here are five reasons.
1. PS2 can go online to battle or team up with friends.

2.PS2 has better graphics.

3.PS2 has more games to play than the gamecube. Example the Barstow walmart has two and a half cases of PS2 games. Also when you go to gameworld 90% of the place is PS2
games.

4.PS2 has cheaper memory cards and cheaper game controlers.
5.Last of all, PS2 has steering wheels and pedals to play with when playing a racing game.

definitely the ps2 better graphics better games can read cds and movies which gamecube can't.

PS2! Better graphics, more games, features. Downside is that you need multitap if you want to play with more than 2 players.
