Well, I love the name Christine and Zhgane (SHANE), but Christine may be a little too common for your taste. I also like Holly, Kari or Carrie, and Nadia. All very beautiful names, shouldn't be too common. The most common names this year are: Emily, Hannah, Olivia and Katie. Here are some other names you might like that are my child's names: Emelia (or Amelia), Sarah (or Sara), Cassie (or Kacy), Sophie (or Sophia), Ava (or Ave), and Sarina (or Sabrina). Sophie died on the day she was born, but shes still my own. Hope this helps, and good luck on your baby; I had my twins yesterday!!!

Why don't you make one up? Of course, black people are stigmatized by having children with "ghetto" names, however you could try combining a part of your name with one that means a lot to you. You could also give your baby girl a hyphenated name like Khaleah-Evelyn or something.

But back to the question...personally my favorite is Khaleah...lol.

How about Jisha? And the "i" is not a long sound as in Lia, but short as in the word "dish".
I also like Lillia (or lilliya) and Leilah (pronounced "layla")...u can change the spelling.
Neveah is also very pretty, but is quite common now.
Sonrisa...spanish for "smile"

I named my daughter Sela (see-la) which can also be spelled Selah. I thought it was feminine and pretty. Some other suggestions are Davina, Delaine, Celeste(haven't heard this one in a while), Ivy, Katya. Or you can go to babynames.com for some others. Good luck with your baby!

You should just pick a name you like best and not worry about the popularity cause too many times I've seen somebody name their child somthing that they don't think anyone else will and then suddenly you hear it everywhere
