I hate that...running through the airport trying to find the gate and of course it's the last one and by the time you get there you're all red and sweaty. blah. it's a conspiracy, damnit.

I've sometimes wondered the same thing. It must be to do with giving you exercise before you get on the plane - in the same way that they make you walk for miles when you arrive at the other end.
