You skin tone is an important factor in choosing the right makeup colors. You want colors that match your skin tone. Here's how to determine your skin tone:
Warm skin tone:
1. Look at inner wrist - veins will appear green.
2. Gold jewelry is more flattering than silver jewelry.
Cool skin tone:
1. Look at inner wrist - veins will appear blue.
2. Silver jewelry is more flattering.
Here are some color combinations for your eye color to consider: http://www.beautyden.com/beautycolors.shtml

For daytime, I'd probably wear a soft champagne & taupe eyeshadow. Curl my lashes & apply a basic mascara. When I wear my eyeglasses, I prefer simple eye makeup. Today's lenses are thinner w/ less distortion but I don't like my make up to clash/compete w/ my eye glass frames.
For evening, I'd consider a slightly shimmery eyeshadow w/ eyeliner tight against the upper lashline.
A lot depends on what kind of frame you have then on the thickness or distortion of your lenses.

You could probably put on different colors that are bright. Like lighter blues and greens etc. Anything would look really good. Putting on brown or black might be too dark, but if you like that kind of thing, I think it would totally enhance your eye color. But I think a pretty, electric blue or a pretty shade of purple would look wicked sweet.

Almay makes some compacts of color for different colored eyes. You should check out what colors they have for your eyes and if you don't want to use Almay, buy similar colors. Also check out their color application guide on the back of the package and watch shows like What Not to Wear for Carmandy's tips on eye make-up application.
