Pub,the food is more filling and there`s inevitably some kind of free floor show, however unplanned.

Do you know how many times you can eat at a pub for the price of one time at a posh restaurant? I'll take the pub, if they have good food.

Which ever does the best food.
You could go to a top notch restaurant, pay through the nose but end up with a C**P meal.
I would feel more comfartable in a pub as its more of a communal place.

I'm definitely more comfortable in a pub, but if it's a special occasion then it's nice to go to a good restaurant.

I would prefer a pub. I think I would feel a bit uncomfy in a posh restaurant.

On a special occasion a posh restaurant is nice...a good wine w/ good food. But, in general, you'll find me at the pub w/ good food & a beer!

Pub food is, most times, cheaper and usually very good! The best French onion soup I ever ate was in a pub.

Has to be a night in a nice restaurant. Pub lunches are good though.
