how's the plan to stop suicide bombers, ....and oh btw.......what is that plan?

i look forward to a long list of responses,,,none of which answers that question.

also, the US defeat in iraq has nothing to do with the troops, this failure, like so many others falls squarely on the shoulders of bush and his incompetent band of weasels

What can I say? You're right again. There is and never was a plan. The way to stop suicide bombers is for us to leave Iraq and let them handle the civil war we created there.

We will never win in Iraq. They will fight us using whatever means are available to them. Bush is creating more terrorists daily. But look at how much he and Cheney are making off their war profiteering. American lives mean nothing to Bush. He has said he will stay in Iraq even if no one but his wife and his dog agree with him. He is proving that. His hubris is killing our troops and harming our country.

The plan to stop suicide bombers? well you drop the biggest and most lethal weapons in our arsenal on them. Blue Jeans and rock and roll.
Kill the mentality, you stop the suicide bombing. If a people are prosperous and happy here on planet earth, suddenly the afterlife looks less attractive.
This takes time, which clearly the American people have no patience for. It's a shame. we have an excellent track record of rebuilding nations after we bombed the bejesus out of them. Look at Japan and Germany. 70 years and our troops are still there.

Any mental health expert will tell you that, if you take a sane person and put him on an island with an insane person, the sane person will become insane as well.
This is also true in personal relationships. If a sane person lives with psychotic, the sane person gets dragged into the psychosis. This is what has happened to us in Iraq.
The terrorists attacks and suicide bombings is pure insanity. It's crazy and makes no sense. In response, our tactics have become insane and make no sense. Iraq is a textbook example of a senseless war.
How in the world can you expect a sensible solution to a senseless situation?
The only plan that would make sense to me would be to get our troops outside of the urban areas and let the Iraqis kill each other. When the dust settles and one faction emerges as a winner, deal with them in whatever way neccessary.

The right has no answer, as there is no answer militarily! The commanding general in Iraq has said many times.

There best response is the reality! More welfare for their no-bid government contract leaches who hire a lot of illegals, and more deaths, 3,675 (36 this week), and an military that is out of control, bombing and killing innocents in both Iraq and Afghanistan.. Afghanistan just warned us yesterday that they were going to throw us out if we continued killing civilians!

We never should have been in Iraq, and we should not be there now. The over 500 brand new millionaires made from blood money should be enough! While Bush cuts VA hospitals by $100 Billion and they are currently treating 105,000 Iraqi vets!

Meanwhile, all you that want the war, go join and find out what it is like! You don't have a damn clue!

There is truth in the saying that there are no one that are not wounded in a war. Just because you can't see it, it screws you up for life!

I would like to know why we were there and are there, as both are pure BS!

When will you reach enough body bags to butt out of a civil war that is destabilizing a whole region, gives Iran to much power, and continues to kill civilians.

We are in a civil war, and just because we want to pick who is in power, is not going to end anything!

I am not a rightie, but there is a pretty good article in this month's Playboy about that same problem. Basically, the guy says we should just kill all the family members of those who oppose us over there.

And you all thought us liberals were bleeding hearts!

We don't think we can win, we know we will win. Part of the reason this war is still going on is because too much of our plans/stragety has been on the world wide web!

We should strike hard. Show no mercy, Kill the enemy where ever he is. They can't be a suicide bomber if we kill them first.

Or we could use Shelly and the lefts plan and run home and hide under the bed!

We could fire bomb their city's like we did to Japan and Germany in WWII, that should take some of the wind out of their sails.
You can't be a suicide bomber if your a crispy critter.
