I just took out a 5 gallon equity loan....as the 5 gallons of gas had a higher value than my house...I'm going to drain the lawnmower for more collateral.

That would depend on what part of town you would be looking to spend your money in,...but, probably, the gas.
I'd say,pass the gas and buy a house!
