YEs, I do have a wireless router, and I attached the Print server to it, but, it does not recognize any IP address. Eevrything is set up, already, the only thing that do not work is the last step, the IP address localization.

Most of the time you just log into the print server and set the IP address. I am not sure but I would bet the NetGear software came with a method to directly connect to it and set the IP.. (You want a FIXED IP for the print server - it has to be one within your network range. The reason is you do not want that IP to change which can happen with DHCP issued addresses like your computers get from your router.)

So if it were me, I would log into the router get the LAN IP information like 192.168.0.1 etc find out the IP range being used for DHCP probably like 192.168.0.100 to 150 then I would log into the print server and set its IP to 192.168.0.20 (anything outside the DHCP range).
Also check your router for LAN subnet range. It will look like
255.255.255.0 or 255.255.0.0 etc you need to put that in the print server also.
Set the print server gateway to the IP address of the router.

Once that is done you should be working.

I have a network composed of 2 desktop computers and one laptop (wireless), they all share one single printer, which is plugged into one of the desktops. I first installed the printer on the desktop the usual way, then made sure it's selected as "shared", then went to the other computers and run the "install new printer" wizard, but told the wizard that the printer is a share from another computer (networked) and the wizard will automatically find it, even through a wireless connection.

I understand the wireless print server is better, but my way works for me, and probably there are many benefits of having a print server but I none of which I can't live without.

I understand this is not what you're asking, but I am sharing this information in case you don't get the print server to work.

You also need to have a wireless router, if you do not have a wireless router, then you will not get an IP address for your printer. The print server does not provide routing, DHCP or DNS information which is required to get the IP address that you are looking for. I hope this helps.
