Most traditional country singers sing through their nose but thankfully Carrie Underwood is not one of those! LOL I sing more like say Patsy Cline-ish..

Soooo - this is what you do.
Drink a pint of beer in one go, on an empty stomach.
Tip your head back as far as you can, take a real deep breath and pretend you are Pavaroti when you sing the word
"COUNTRY"
And that's how you sing 'country'

country has more of a ... more happy or sad feeling, it tries to relate more... it gets you pumped when u sing it... just like any other type of music of song
