How can I sell a diamond without the papers?

It's a beautiful diamond, about 1 carat, and very clear, obviously good quality. I want to get as much as I can for it, obviously.

try ebay! or goto a jewelry exchange place/website! or local newspaper .....craigslist.com but i really dont trust craigslist. good luck!
