Yes many and then I burn them hoping that my feelings will go up in smoke with the letter. Its actually a very healthy thing to do. I recommend it.

One time I wrote an evil letter to my father. Put it in an envelope with a stamp on it. Had that in my car. I was never really going to mail it,it just felt good knowing I had it there for some reason. Anyway, one day it disappeared. I think my husband mailed it for me. That was before my new and improved "burn the evidence" method kicked in. YIKES! My dad never said a word. I hope it just got lost but I doubt it.

I have a large manilla envelope full of letters addressed to "him" that I have no intention of sending. Writing them is cathartic... I get out what I have to say and since it doesn't matter to him anyway...why waste the postage!

i used to be a prolific letter author to a cousin of mine who moved to Texas. each and every time I wrote her it became into to be honestly attracted to her wellbeing, and permit her understand of mine. i like to think of, ideally, that a letter is in simple terms an extension of me as a guy or woman, some thing I deliver beforehand of myself in my absence. however i could no longer be there in physique, i could have some variety of essence of myself given to that guy or woman, and that's was hoping the state-of-the-artwork nuances coated interior the textual content will coach by way of. In different words, the subtlety of the written notice as superior by way of humanity, in all of its grammatical and contextual orders, can convey meaning as all of us understand. with a bit of luck there'll constantly be an adherence to the written notice, a worth servant to our hopes, emotions and desires. sturdy question.

Many times. Sometimes to vent frustration without starting a battle, sometimes just to help me get my thoughts in order. I've found it to be pretty useful.
