No. They don't really have a strong scent that fish like and can smell underwater (which would make for bad fishing days). Yuck...gummi worms are gross. I don't like anything gummi, but if I had to choose it would be the bears!

No. after they take the bait and start to chew it, it will get stuck in their teeth. Then you would have to cut the line and put a new leader and hook and everything on to catch more fish, so even though you would probably catch a bunch of fish, it will cost you quite a bit in tackle.

i haven't had gummi worms in years! that's the one of the things i miss about the states. ah well.
