Worse is when you work in a shop and are doing something like putting out stock and someone comes up and asks you if you work there? What exactly do they think you're doing if you don't work there I wonder?!

Yes, I wear a lot of Old Navy clothes and I shop at one nearbye. I've been there so many times that people have asked me where the Men's room is, the prices of stuff, does this go with that, etc.

Yes.

I was in a guitar store and some lady asked me if I worked there. I said "yeah" and I asked her if she needed any help. I took the guitar off the wall she wanted and proceeded to head to the check out. When I did that an employee says "do you need any help" and I said, "I got it."

The lady continued to follow me and I decided to walk behind the counter. I put the guitar down, laughed and said I don't really work her. She started to laugh and goes "Well, I would have payed you!!"

Than we made out. We've been happily married for 41 years.

Yeah, but not because I'm dressed like them. Strangers come to talk to me often like on bus stops or at the banK. My friend says I'm very approacheable because I have a "friendly face".

Yes and you wonder how it is the person seeking help missed all of those blue vested employees to find you to ask.
