I am on the first day of my period...how long should i wait after to try???

about 12-14 days.
been there, done that 3 times and every single time I got pregnant instantly within this time frame.

What has always worked for me is 10 days after the start of my period is the day. So today is the 14th, make sure you are doing it on the 24th at least! We just do the dirty deed from the time my period ends until at least day 14 or so. But 3 times it has been day 10, which is what I was taught in my child development class! But every woman is different! Good luck!

Wait until your period is over with..
You can only get pregnant while you're ovulating.. (Which will be about 14 days before your next period.) A raised temperature means, that you're ovulating.. And I'm sure that you already know, that 98.6 is the normal temperature, (for a human), so when it spikes, get busy..

The average cycle is 28 days, so roughly around day 14, you should ovulate. So, start having sex around day ten or so. By the way, Day one is the first day of your period.

As soon as your period stops, start paying attention everyday to the changes in your cervical fluid. once it turns into an abundant amount of egg-white, stretchy mucus(1- 10 inches in length), this means you are at your most fertile. Case in point, start having sex pronto!

You can have sex after its finish for every other night but for pregnancy i would advise you to have sex every night from day 13 of cycle to18.

When you are enjoying it! Seriousely, becoming tense from "trying" to do something lessens the chances. Just relax.
