You should probably wait around 2 weeks atleaste. you have to give your yard time to process and desolve the seed first. if you get plenty of rain within the 2 weeks it should be fine to go ahead and fertilize. Otherwise wait the 2 weeks because you will burn/kill the grass out if you apply too much too soon.

Wait. The general rule is don't use chemicals on new grass until you have cut it at least twice. Both fertilizer and weed killer will kill new grass.
