I am thinking of purchasing an 2008 Chevy Silverado, but I also want an Impala SS or A Suburban- Which Is more Favorable?

Well, that really depends on which motor you get in the Silverado(or the 'burb) as far as the gas mileage goes.
I just purchased(last Oct., 06) an 04 Silverado reg.cab w/ the 4.8L(292ci)/A4(auto) and it does pretty decent on the MPG w/ 19 & 24(w/ an aggressive foot on the pedal). Of course, it does have a tonneau cover on the bed. So, that may help alill.

Favored depends on what the use for it will be. Gas prices are going to peak in a few weeks so I would not choose an SUV, the Impala gets good gas mileage and has a lot of room, but the Silverado's are nice but once again gas prices. With the Silverado and the Suburban you can tow things if thats what you intend to do. Both the Impala and Suburban are nice family cars for road trips etc. It is ultimately your decision and how much money you can into gas a week.

It depends on what you need. The only similarity among the three is that they are made by Chevrolet. The Impala is a mundane 4 door sedan. The Surburban is the world's biggest station wagon/truck/sport utility vehicle. The Silverado is one of two excellent pick up trucks. Ford makes the other.

Considering the price of gas I would go with the Impala. I have an SUV and I spend about 70 dollars a week in gas. Good luck.

none are more favorable imho. be a little more concious of the energy you consume--unless you actually need the functionality of a super huge car/suv it is selfish and vain to drive one.
