Hi,
I just want to ask which degree has more demand rite now ...just from these 2.... in CANADA (ontario).

Bsc in Math with minor in Econ or doing B.Eng in Chemical Engineering ?

I know Chemical Eng would be much better since its a professional degree.

On the other hand many people go for Engineering but I dont see enough people graduating with Math degree ...does that make Math degree more demanding?

A math degree is not very practical. Advanced math is mostly theoretical, and few places have need of it. This makes math majors relatively rare. Note that the job market is stable for math majors, just not that great. Engineering is by far the way to go if want flexibility. A degree in Chem Eng will let you work for literally hundreds of corporations (not to mention, most Engs make more money and advance faster than Maths).

Everyone I've ever met with a degree in Chemical Engineering left because they got bored with it. The field they went into: Finance -- they already knew the math but had to learn the econ.

Personally, I think you are wrong that a professional degree is better -- but if you really want one, you can always get an MBA later.
