I'm looking for certain statistics on the precentage of hispanics and african-americans in college that have education as their major. If anyones know where I can find this information, that would be very helpful.

Thanks.

This may not be relevant but there was just an article recently on the problems of African American students in grad school - a MUCH larger percent of AA students in graduate school are in Education compared to white or Asians.

This article was in the Chronicles of Higher Education, which is the weekly newspaper read by faculty and administration people at all the USA colleges and universities.

There may be some stats on the board of education's website. You may have to just do a search for that and see what pops up. There may be some form of an organization that tracks this as well but I would start with the Board of Education.
