This guys said certain race weren't even people that they were animals no better than pigs or dogs....My head just about fkn exploded!!!!!...But I was so shocked and he was a drunk ...I turned my back on him and wouldn't "engage him" any further...but I WISH I could go back...I'm sure I will run into this animal no better than a dog himself again...What would be a good response to his vile garbage?

Well to answer him sternly and make his head spin would probably make you feel pretty good, but take a look at who said it and realize that by walking away... you didn't stoop to his pathetic level. He is obviously an ignorant jerk, who is also a drunk. He will continue on in his sad life judging others and in the end he will get it back 10 fold. Its probably best you didn't say anything.

The world has a lot of stupid people, and the worst thing you could do is allow their ignorance to make you act stupid as well. There is nothing wrong with letting them know that you do not appreciate what they are saying, but keep your head on straight - the world needs people like you who don't join in with the rest of the idiots.

I wouldn't even grace his comments with a response. If he was drunk he may not even remember so I just wouldn't bring it up again. People like that are not worth getting worked up about.

He sounds like a *******, but if you were a female there was no more to do because you know how vile drunks can get and it would be dangerous for you to get into trouble with a dude like this.

Just don't say nothing because the person was probably drunk and usually when you drink the "Drink of Courage" his true colors has shown. Don't see this person if you can ever again. Aloha and godspeed.

Hmmm... it'll probably cost you a few dollars but could teach him a lesson that will be of use to him forever. Get a Mug printed with 'God created this world to be shared by all of his creation' and present it to him.

i think you did the right thing... from experience i know that people who are that closed-minded will NEVER listen to what you have to say, no matter how reasonable your arguments may be... maybe you should have pretended to puke in his face.
If you wanted to hurt him just get personal, tell him he is ugly, that he smells bad, or has bad breath... even if he doesn't show it, it will make him either really angry or self-conscious... just be prepared for him to do the same to you.

If you MUST engage with this person you can just let him know that you feel what he said was very inappropriate and that you would appreciate if he would refrain from those comments while in your presence.
