Just be patient and give yourself another week to start your period. If you do not start your period in about a week, retest yourself to see if you are pregnant and if you are not then make an appointment with your doctor and get tested there again. Different things can make your period get screwed up like an illness, stress, diet and exercise. I wouldn't jump the gun yet, but if you are really worried, go to your doctor's office right away and get tested right there. They will be able to give you the results fairly quickly.

Even the most regular people can have periods that come late, especially if you have altered your schedule or are under stress or have been ill or not eating properly - there are tons of factors that could make you late.
Or, you could be pregnant and the test just didn't detect it yet.
At this point, all you can do is wait it out, and if period doesn't come, test again in a few more days.

Cycles can always be off by a few days, no matter how regular you are. A day and half is nothing to be alarmed about. Under almost all circumstances, you will have an accurate test once your period is missed. Give it three or four more days and retest if you still don't have your period. Good luck.

You are only 1 day late! That is not uncommon at all. If you were in a situation to become pregnant and that is a concern, then I would test again in a couple of days if you still don't have your period. It could be possible that you tested to soon.

Unless you are clock-work exact with your menstrual cycles, a 1.5 day delay is nothing to worry about. Pregnancy test are not always 100% conclusive and have been known to yield wrong results either way. If you suspect being pregnant it is best to get the prognosis of a seasoned medical expert in the field of OBGYN. Don't risk you life and/or sanity by having blind faith in over-the-counter pregnancy tests.

normally a pregnency will not register any sooner than 5 days after a missed period. Some tests could find it out sooner but most are 5-10 days after a missed period.
