My periods are irregular-normally within 34-53. I've been tracking them for 5 years. Highest 4 are 58(x2), 59, & 61. I'm 24 , 5'6" 128lbs. LMP: 02/28

Not sure how often I ovulate. My breasts normally get sore 2 weeks before my period comes. (always assumed ovulation) In March I had a toothache that wouldn't go away. 4/9 I went to the Dentist and he gave me antibiotics & pain medication. Could either delay ovulation? I am not on birth control. 4/18 I was supposed to get a root canal (didn't end up happening tmj issues). I was upset about all that. I took an hpt 5/3 which was negative. My nipples have been slighty sore since 4/25th. I don't feel pregnant or stressed. We are TTC - but not making a big deal of it. A baby would be wonderful. I don't want to go to the Dr. yet incase I maybe didn't ovulate yet or won't this month. If I won't be.. when should I expect a period? Temps are in 97's. Checking since 5/1. CM is sticky/creamy clear/white. (not a pro at that lol)

Temps in the 97's sounds as though you havent even ovulated yet. I know mine are low like that before ovulation and jump into the 98's after. Clear/white CM may be fertile CM. Does it stretch? Does it resemble raw eggwhites or snot? if so, this could be ovulation cm. Good luck and keep tracking. Maybe your having a late ovulation, which does happen if stressed, and just about to ovulate.

If you don't have regular periods, you are likely not ovulating every month, number one reason is PCOS. If you don't ovulate, you can't get pregnant. See a doctor about testing and medications to help regulate your periods. You may only be ovulating once or twice a year if AT ALL. The average young healthy monthly ovulating person takes 1-4 months to get pregnant. If you ovulate once a year it will take you 1-4 years to get pregnant.

If your temps are 97 then you probably haven't ovulated yet. With your irregularity, I would recommend seeing a doctor about it, but don't let him put you on birth control to "regulate" your periods as it just plain does not work.
Sometimes irregular periods are caused by minor hormonal issues that can be fixed easy, ask to have all your hormones tested.

take another hpt, it may be possible you are pregnant. Call you dr, if you are pregnant you need to start prenatal care, and if you are not he may be able to help you regulate your periods and ovulation so you can concieve. Good luck!
