Or should I let them catch em naturally. My guys seem to march around the perimeter of the tank while the crickets hang out on the wood I put in there for shelter for the emps. SHould I disable the crickets in some way, tong feed em, or just let em be and catch em on their own?

Let them be and let them catch it on their own.

They'll eat just about any kind of insects, so you can buy mealworms , waxworms and others for a change. I'd be very careful using anything caught - there might be a chance of it having been exposed to an insecticide.

Adult scorpions can also be fed pinkie mice.

You don't have to use tongs - you can just put the food in and let the scorpions eat when they want. A little hunting exercise will be more natural for them. If there a lot of crickets left after you feed, you may be giving them too many.

You can feed them wax worms, however in not great amounts as they are almost all fat. when they get bigger they will eat a few other things, osme even eat baby mice on occasions. I even saw a few lepard geckos that even take nible at fruit every now and then. But crickets should always make up the mojority of his diet and right now there really isnt anything differnt he can eat

To make it more natural for the scorpion, i would let him get it himself. You could also try anything small enough for him to catch. Ex. Lizards, beetles, cockroaches, stuff like that. Besides who doesnt like something a little out of the ordinary?

Hello..they'll eat anything they can sting... that don't or won't eat them first..so I wouldn't go with anything over the size of a pinkie...ya never know when they won't eat & then they get eatin or injured cuz they can't get away from the food when caged !! Take Care :)
