I felt this way all my life. When I was 14, when I was 18, I'm 24 now, it doesn't seem right either.
You're always as old as you've ever been I guess, and for that reason it's a novelty. 24 seems strange to me, but when I'm 25, I'll think..but I'm 24. Maybe we can only see the truth with the perspective of time. I can't think of anyone who "feels" their age because age doesn't "feel" like anything. You know? It's impossible.

OMG Ive got 2 18 year olds and a 12 year old inside me.
Good way of telling someone you're 48.
Act the way you always did. Be considerate. Dont watch the clock, or count the sunsets.

old!!!! what is that. I dont believe in old only younger people will say oh my god thats old! but when we reach a certain number (age) our mind says other things. I for one will forever be young in my head. My dad who is dead now never grew old he was young in his ways and loved life just as much as anyone of 30 years younger than him. So the number creeps up on you but youngness is a mind thing. I can be as silly now as I was 40 odd years ago. Live for the moment

Growing old is inevitable - growing UP is optional!!
I know what you mean, I got a twing of old fart-ness when I saw a compilation album advertised with all the hard rock bands I like - and the caption read 'Ideal for fathers day' So much for my rebel ways.

Pfff... No. I'll be thirty next month. I've accomplished more than I ever thought possible.
I think folks really let age preoccupy them to the point that they just sit and stare at the calendar, dreading every coming day.

I am 34 in my prime. I am not old, I have a 5 year old that keeps me on my toes and active too. Age is all in the mind. Ironic my dad was saying that he felt old when he turned 60..and his life felt like it went all downhill, he fell into depression...for awhile he is 67 now and has started to take care of himself, by keeping active...like running again...he was talking to me about mind over a number...it is just not a number it is how you feel about yourself approaching that number in your life...

Blokes get to 28 then mentally stop. It's only the old body that tells them not to be daft thankfully usually before a visit to A&E.

I don't know, age to me is just a fact and figure, your age is just what otehrs recognise you as but the way you act and speak it tells of the real age you are inside as an individual.
