Unless you're really board and looking to sleep in your twin bed for the next couple of weeks, I wouldn't tell her a "thing or two". Only speaking from a woman's point of view, of course. :)
Taking a look at your bruise, it's only superficial and it's more of your ego that's bruised. Give it a day, take a 2 ibuprofen and drink a 6 pack tonight and you'll be fine in the morning.
