I have been student teaching in a class since the end of March. I need a nice thank you letter to go home with the students since the school year is ending. Grade Pre-K

Are you sure you should address it parents? Do all the students live with their parents or our some with other family or foster families. A better way to start anything sent home with children is "Dear Families."

I would include something along the lines of "First-hand experience is the best way for an up and coming teacher to learn. The time I have spent in this class is something I will carry with me forever." And then add some personal memories in too. Maybe say how spending time in the class has made you more confident to go forward with your career.

Somethings to remember

-Thank the teacher and students too.
-Do not refer to the class as if it is your class. It is not it is the supervising teacher's and the student's class also.

Dear Parents,
I have enjoyed my time with your children. I have learned a lot from being with them and the experience will be invaluable to me in my future career. The class are lively, happy and friendly and I will miss them.
I wish them all well in the future.

Hope this helps, as I teach in England & don't know Grade pre-K. Feel free to change it around as you like.
