When I was 16 I worked graveyard shifts at a plastic factory.
Not sure what I ever had against fast food...

It was full-time for the summer, so more hours than I could've ever got at McDonalds, and I slept all day, did whatever in the evenings, worked all night. Weekends off or I made overtime.

i always said that i would never work in fast food either but when i was 15 i got hired at Mcdonalds and stayed there for 2 years and i reallly actually didnt mind it. Usuallly people who do work at fast food are teenagers so you would end up making a lot of new friends and getting along great with your co-workers (hopefully) i also worked at other resturants under 18 doing various things like busing tables or cooking or wating or whatever...i know it sucks but food service is honestly your best bet at 16

When I was 16 I got a job as an office clerk, then I worked at Target. Check all of your local department stores and large office buildings. These were both pretty good jobs.

Other than fast food, grocery stores are the #1 place for teens to find a job. Also if you look for companies like Gallop or Wese that conduct telephone surveys they are always eager to hire. Jobs are much harder to find in the summer however due to many teens looking for summer jobs. Good Luck.

That is a statement not a question unless your question is that you are only 16. I am guessing you are 16, does that help?

It could be your writing and communication skills that are the problem.

Try office clerk or receptionist. Working the front desk at a gym or hotel works too.
