5x -2(4x-3)=6x+9 can be reduced to
5x - 8x + 6 = 6x + 9; combing like terms gives
-3x + 6 = 6x + 9; subtracting 6x from both sides and 6 as well gives
-3x-6x = 9-6
-9x = 3
x=-1/3
Putting back into the start equation, we get
-5/3 - 2 (-4/3 - 9/3) = 6(-1/3) + 9
5/3 -2(-13/3) = -2+9
5/3 + 26/3 = 7

permit a,-a,b,c be those 4 roots. (a>0) then c+d=-5/6, -a^2+cd=-4, -a^2(c+d)=5/2, -a^2*c*d=3 so a=sqrt(3), cd=-a million ==> c=2/3,d=-3/2 so the roots are sqrt(3),-sqrt(3),2/3,-3/2
