I Think I Might be Thespian?

Question

I am not sure but I think I might be a thespian.
How can I be sure?
If so how do I tell my family?
Should I place such importance of self identity and self value on such things?
If my interests in theatre does not define me as a person why do so many define themselves by their sexuality?
Are we not more than just horny animals driven by basic desire to fornicate?
Are we not also humans with much more to us than who...or what we sleep with?

Death...you need to read deeper then. It is Sooooooooo related to this subject.
It is about self identity being sold short by sexuality.
So before you RAMO read and answer please.

Being gay does not mean I should be stripped of my rights. If I want to legally bind myself to another, that is my business and only my business. Not yours. If I want to serve my country, or visit my partner in the hospital, or heaven forbid recieve a tax break it is MY business. The issue wouldn't be in the Media if it wasn't for people like you making it an issue. I'm gay, who cares? What I do behind closed doors should be of no importance to you. I realize you think you were being very clever with this question, but can you truly not see how you are the one defining people by their sexuality? Not so smart pal. "Are we not also humans with much more to us than who...or what we sleep with?" Your words, not mine. I am first and foremost a human being, just like you. The person I fall in love with does not define me. You are a giant hypocrite and are blind to the contradictions in your own writings. I myself choose to sleep with consenting adults, I don't know what the heck you're spending intimate time with to include things like "or what we sleep with" in your question. I don't like you. Not for disagreeing with homosexuality, that is fine by me. I am not here to tell you what to agree with. But your pompous, smug, ridiculous arguments make no sense and really irritate the heck out of me.

Well, how are your skills at performing in live theatre?? As for your family, I'd let them down gently.

As for the rest of your question, I'd have to agree with you in that we really shouldn't be defining ourselves by our sexuality.

PS you forget that its society (or, id prefer -- crowd) who defines persona of the one by his/her sexuality. hence the one is not being left with any other choice. :(
