i have downloaded vista onto my computer but my internet doesnt work because its not compatible with it so i want to get rid of it so its like brand new with nothing on it please can someone help i have been without my computer for 3 weeks i cant do anything

Reinstall your XP cd. I installed Vista and haven't had any problems with the internet.. Only problems I've had is having to DL new drivers and such.. Nothing major

Yet another compatibility reason I'm waiting on installing Vista...
I'll give it 2 more years like XP SP2....LOL
If you have your XP installation disk then format and reinstall XP, If not, then it becomes more complicated...Have fun~~

Pop in your XP CD, during installation, you have to choice to DELETE the partition, and XP will install from there.
FORMAT doesnt do it so dont waste your time.

My my, burr, you really ought to read the question better. He says he downloaded, but i believe he means installed. I honestly doubt it was stolen. Are any of your answers ever informed? or do you just ejoy finding people who mistyped something and insulting them for being imperfect?

yes your internet IS compatabile. you have to make a static IP google static ip on vista and you can find out how
