Wha wee did you find out the sex of your baby?

I'm 16 weeks and still have another 4 weeks until i can have my scan x

at my 16 week u/s the tech said 99% sure a girl and at 19 weeks it was comfirmed a girl

What exactly is "wha wee" and "scan x"?

I had my ultrasound at around 20 weeks, and found out it was a boy. I had heard that sometimes the ultrasound can be wrong, but the tech told us that's only true if they don't know what they're doing or what they're looking for. I'm 6 weeks along with my second child now, and I do plan on finding out the sex this time, as well.

I've heard tons of old wives tales to determine the sex, but that's all they are - old wives tales. Like if the heartbeat is over a certain rate (I forget what exactly), it's a girl and if it's lower it's a boy; if you're carrying low it's a girl and if you're big all over it's a boy; if you have morning sickness it's a girl, if you don't it's a boy; if you're craving junk food it's a girl, if you're craving healthy food it's a boy... the list goes on and on and on, but they aren't reliable enough to determine what the sex really is.

I found out at 16 weeks. I was in Germany at the time and I went every two weeks for an ultrasound.

I'm 38 weeks and don't know. I never knew with my daughter either and it was a wonderful moment the biggest surprise and delight. I don't want to know its like finding a hidden present opening it and then having to put it back and fake surprise when the person gives it to you. Sure you still love the gift but there is something wonderful in waiting.

first one at 15 weeks, 2nd at 18 weeks. They are both boys, so it was easy to tell!
