to have a blue badge you need to be disabled-- so if you think that this is an advantage -- god help you.

I do hate it when people refer to having a blue badge as an 'advantage'. To most people, being in possession of this little card is a necessity, not an advantage....

You don't pay any tolls, you don't pay congestion charges, and you can give it to someone who's running an errand for you - so they can park for free in council car parks (most councils let you park for free). Otherwise, of course, you'd owe them the parking money.
