This guy in my league keeps trying to get Justin morneau from me. he does offer a good player in derek lee.

before i traded him carl crawford for alfonso soriano.

then he offered me beltran for crawford which i denied. but now I want beltran but don't want to give up crawford.

I posted a bulletin saying i want to get rid of mariano rivera because he is struggling right now.

So the current trade offer is Derek Lee and Chad Cordero for Justin Morneau and Mariano Rivera.

I made a counter offer and added Beltran for Josh Hamilton.. but he is not going to go for that.

My other oldfielders are Geoff Jenkins, Magglio Ordonez, and Nick Swisher.. Plus the ones you've seen already Hamilton and Crawford..

Oh yeah and should I drop Jason Giambi or is he going to work through this foot injury and keep up his hot bat.

I would have laughed at the Beltran for Hamilton trade also!!

To me nothing is unfair between the trade of Morneau for Lee, i think it is even. Cordero for Rivera is not even close. Try trading Morneau and Rivera for Lee and a starting picther that you think is equal to Rivera.

Or if you want Beltran offer him Mornea straight up, i think that is a fair deal.

No way I would give up Morneau and Rivera for Lee and Cordero. Lee and Morneau are a pretty even swap but Rivera for Cordero is horrible....the Yankees will get him going and Cordero plays on a terrible team and will get very few save opportunities. You are correct to not offer Crawford back to him for Beltran but if I were him I would reject the throwin of hamilton for Beltran too. If he wants Morneau badly enough he will find a compromise deal....this one he has on the table favors him by a long ways so i would either find a new package to trade with Lee and Morneau as the main peices or just stick with what you have. It isnt that bad and you dont need to make a trade for the sake of making a deal.
