The outsiders. Best book I read in high school. We then watched the movie with all of the young actors that ended up being really famous.

"The Good Earth" by Pearl S. Buck. I love reading. I even majored in English in college, but "The Good Earth" is the one book that I remember reading for high school that I LOATHED and would NEVER read again.

Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck. Animal Farm. I was lucky in school, in grade 12 we got to watch "Clockwork Orange" and report on it.
